Colombus Consulting incorporates corporate social responsibility into all its activities.
As a corporate citizen, we are aware of our impact on sustainable development issues. That is why our company has been committed to a volunteer approach of corporate social responsibility (CSR), carried out by a team of collaborators. Since 2009, Colombus Consulting is member of the Global Compact, a UN initiative, that asks signatories to promote sustainable development, in accordance with the 17 universally recognized goals. We draw up an annual action plan for sustainability and report our results in a CSR report. This initiative is rooted in four foundations :
Promoting job satisfaction
We understand that the added value provided to our clients relies on the job satisfaction of our employees and so we pay particular attention to quality of life in the workplace. We think that work should be a source of pride and satisfaction. We are proud to have won the Great Place to Work® award. This award, which is bestowed following an employee survey on the quality of workin life, provides the company with an opportunity to assess staff relations and develop our human resources policy. To help us remain a Great Place to Work®, we have introduced a continual improvement scheme.
Supporting non-profit organizations
We work with social enterprises and not-for-profit organizations to help their activities. We strongly believe in the added value of not-for-profit sector and support transformation projects in this sector in the form of skills transfers. In 2014, we co-created CO Conseil, a non-profit consulting firm for public interest. In 2016, we created a partnership with two associations that support careers and entrepreneurship.
Our commitment to promoting biodiversity and local development
Our activities affect the environment and we strive to limit our carbon footprint by recycling our waste and making our employees aware of good environmental practice. We know that protecting biodiversity creates wealth and have worked for many years with Conservation Capital, a company specializing in devising viable economic models in Africa and Europe.
Making an innovative contribution to our clients’ CSR targets
We know that corporate social responsibility creates value and so we incorporate its principles into our services (implementing socially responsible procurement policies, developing sustainable development programmes, etc).
